Waves

There will be waves of good and waves of bad, unfortunately we have to ride them both. It’s not up to us to choose the waves but rather how we ride them.

Build Something

Building…we’ve been building things since we were toddlers. It started with blocks and then sand castles and forts and whatever else our imagination urged us to construct. Did we stop building? What are we building now?

Life is the one true cliff hanger…

Wide Open

There is something very humbling and vulnerable about hanging something that you’ve made up on the wall for everyone to see. Sharing it with others transforms it from something that you created and love into something that can now be judged. It’s suddenly wide open to other’s opinions and judgement. What will other’s think? Will they like it, will they hate it? How could they possibly understand where it’s coming from? The emotion involved in it’s creation? Life is art. It requires a humble vulnerabity to share the canvases of our life.

Make The Best Out Of It

Tori decided to ‘help me with my picture’ when I was about half way done with this one. Oh no! Now what? It no longer looked anything like what I had planned on it looking like.

This unintentional collaboration was a lesson in Life and Art. Things in our life don’t always go as planned but we can still try to make the best of it!

Very nice! Now the question is- How can we get these creations in our own homes or offices? Are you offering them for sale?

Beautiful art MK!.. So true. Each day we’er given palette of colors to use. Some days we may only have one or two colors to choose from others the whole rainbow, but its up to us to decide how to apply them on the canvas. Every piece we make is added to a mosiac that makes up the unique individual we are, each piece continuing to influence the over all theme. What does our mosiac say about us? Your art is a perfect example of how even one color can be used to create something amazing.
